| New Favorite TV Show
I finally watched the pilot to Glee on my DVR but because of American Idol's lack of scheduling discipline, I had to catch the last 5 minutes online at their website. Glee's first episode not only entertained me but actually captured my heart and imagination in a way I haven't seen on TV for a while. That episode definitely goes up there with one of my favorite pilot episodes of all-time (which include Veronica Mars, Alias, Friday Night Lights, among others). Hopefully it's not downhill for the rest of the season. You can catch the episode online at the FOX website.
On a side note, So You Think You Can Dance starts tonight!!!

| 2009 Movies (so far)
I've been trying to watch a movie a week but if it scored less than 50% on Rottentomaotes.com among Top Critics, I usually passed. I have yet to watch something I really liked (though State of Play is the closest) but of the movies I've seen in 2009 so far, here is how I rank them:
- State of Play - Reminded me of how much I missed Rachel McAdams
- I Love You, Man - Formulaic but fun
- Duplicity - Loved Clive Owen, Julia Roberts not so much
- Adventureland - Expected a comedy but instead got a drama with comedic elements
- Observe & Report - Though at the bottom of my list, still enjoyed it
3 Movies I'm Looking Forward to (so far):
The Hangover directed by Todd Philips Release Date: June 5 Read the script and loved it. Thought it was well-structured and hilarious. It seems the studios loved it as well since they're already planning a sequel. Here's a link to the website.

The Hurt Locker directed by Kathryn Bigelow Release Date: June 26 (selected NY/LA), July 10 (wide) Been wanting to watch it since last year but didn't have a release date till now, probably because of the Iraq setting (movies about the war in Iraq haven't done well at the box office.) I also like Jeremy Renner on The Unusuals on ABC. Here's a link to the website.

An Education directed by Lone Scherfig Release Date: October (limited) The darling of this year's Sundance Film Festival, there hasn't been this much buzz over a movie since Little Miss Sunshine a couple years back. Also Carey Mulligan is supposedly Audrey Hepburn reincarnate - my favorite actress of all-time. Unfortunately neither a website nor trailer is up yet.
